BNI BiG of Edwardsville Earns “Top Dog” Regional Award

Local networking group recognized for growth, energy, and commitment to community

Edwardsville, IL — BNI BiG, a thriving business networking group based in Edwardsville, has earned the regional “Top Dog” award, a recognition given to chapters that demonstrate strong growth, high engagement, and outstanding member support.

The chapter meets every Thursday morning and has built a reputation as one of the most active and welcoming BNI groups in the region. There are 54 St. Louis Chapters. The “Top Dog” award adds a little fun and friendly competition among chapters, but the meaning behind it runs deeper.

Top Dog celebrates the effort it takes to grow a strong business community. Chapters earn points by showing up consistently, supporting fellow members, helping local residents, and creating a place where business owners genuinely want to be.

Jessica Clines, President of BNI BiG, shared what the recognition means to the group.

“Essentially, BiG is the type of trusted business group business owners want to join, and people can feel confident in our members’ work and accountability,” Clines said.

While the name “Top Dog” brings a playful tone, the impact is very real. The award reflects a chapter where members show up, stay engaged, and actively refer business to one another. It’s a sign of momentum, trust, and shared commitment to helping each other grow.

At its core, the recognition highlights what makes BNI BiG special: a room full of professionals who take pride in their work, show up for each other, and are proud to refer fellow members to clients, friends, and neighbors.

Rich Moody, said regarding the growth of the chapter “I joined because Justin Walker wouldn’t take no for an answer. Now I’ve got 30 people in my corner and more growth than I’ve seen in years.”

As Edwardsville and the surrounding Metro East communities continue to grow, BNI BiG remains focused on building strong relationships, supporting local businesses, and creating opportunities for entrepreneurs who want to grow through trust and collaboration.
